Every great curry house, every family kitchen, every late-night takeaway has one thing in common: someone who knows exactly what goes in the pan and when. Roosma bottles that instinct: a blend for each dish, built the way it's actually cooked, so the food that made those kitchens famous can come out of yours.

Where it started

Flavour startswith the spice.

Every dish lives or dies by its spice. Get the blend right and the rest, the onion, the protein, the heat, simply follows; get it wrong and the best ingredients in the world can't rescue it. That's where we put the work: each Roosma blend is tuned to the dish it's made for and the exact way that dish is cooked, balanced until the foundation is right before it ever reaches your pan.

How we built them

Proven where itactually matters.

Every blend is tested in commercial kitchens under real heat, because a spice that looks right in the packet can fall apart in a hot pan. The big supermarket labels and the old heritage brands are built around one thing: margin. They bulk their blends out with cheap fillers, anti-caking agents and flavour enhancers that pad the weight and shave the cost, then lean on the picture on the front to sell it. Heat exposes all of it. The filler turns to paste, the aroma flattens, and the curry never quite lands. We build the other way round, so when Basaar turns an onion and 450g of chicken into a glossy, restaurant-grade curry, that's not luck. That's the recipe, dialled in until it lands the same in your kitchen as ours.

Made with care

Small batches,honest pouches.

We make our blends in small batches so the aroma is still alive when it reaches your pan. Every pouch is portioned for the dish on the front, with the recipe on the back and nothing hiding in the ingredients: no anti-caking agents, no mystery enhancers. Just what the dish needs, and nothing it doesn't.
